TAYLOR RASZKA

CEO- HEAD OF HOCKEY DEVELOPMENT

Taylor is on a mission to change 1 Million lives!  He started River Raisin CrossFit in 2014 with a goal to make a difference in the Monroe Community.   In 2018 he expanded his business to Rossford Ohio and launched what is now known as Pillar Athletic Performance.  He is excited to continue his mission by further expanding into Hockey Player development, a life long passion of his.  No matter what he is doing Taylor hopes to make an impact and teach people skills that will empower them to feel confident!
 
Taylor's Hockey Career:
  • 1st round draft pick to the Plymouth Whalers in the OHL 
  • 25 plus goal season for the Brampton Battalion on 2005 season 
  • Won Humantarian of the Year 2005 
  • Played professional hockey with the Detroit Red Wings, Toronto Maple Leafs, Columbus Blue Jackets and Minnesota Wild Minor league program. 
  • Received full ride scholarship to the University of Prince Edward Island for Hockey after my professional hockey career was over 
  • Has over 16 years experience training hockey players

Erin Kielmeyer

ERIN KIELMEYER

DIRECTOR OF ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE

Coach Erin comes to us with a wealth of knowledge with her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Masters in Kinesiology, both from BGSU. Pillar Fitness currently trains all Notre Dame High School teams where Erin is the head strength and conditioning coach. Before coming to Pillar Fitness, Erin was a sport performance coach for BGSU, Iowa State, and UT’s women’s soccer teams. Her coaching career started in soccer where she worked as a coach for Pacesetter Soccer Club and Maumee High School. Erin is passionate about helping athletes move well and stay healthy. Erin enjoys CrossFit, biking, and walking her dog.

Angela Hoffsis

ANGELA HOFFSIS

DIRECTOR OF ADULT FITNESS

Coach Angela is from Bowling Green Ohio and comes to us with a Bachelor's of Exercise Science from BGSU. She previously attended Albion College and played 2 years of varsity softball. She has been around sports her whole life as a 3 sport athlete in high school by golfing, playing basketball, and softball and still enjoys playing softball for coed teams. She is passionate about helping athletes (of all ages!) succeed by putting in the work in the gym. She as excited to meet new people and help them reach their health and fitness goals.

TRACY PAPPAS

As the manager for Total Sports Complex in Rossford OH Tracy brings her extensive background in operations and facility management.  She has a passion for providing fitness and sports opportunities for people of all ages!  Tracy is a proud mom of 2 teenagers and is always striving to better herself and those around her.

Logan Lambdin

HOCKEY ACADEMY COACH

Coach Logan is from Monroe MI. He previously played Varsity hockey at Michigan state university and now plays professionally with the Kalamazoo K-Wings. Logan has been playing hockey since he was 3 years old and is very passionate about teaching hockey to all ages! During Covid season Lambdin coached kids of all skill levels and loves working to push them towards their goals. His goal as a coach is to make kids realize their true potential and help them become the best they can be!

Playing Career:

  • Draft pick in the 2014 USHL draft
  • 2015-16 Bloomington thunder most valuable player and coaches award
  • MSU 2017-18 Spartan fitness award
  • Rookie of Year KZoo 2021-22
  • ECHL top 5 rookie scorer 2021-22

 


Tyquan Statham

Tyquan Statham

ATHLETE PERFORMANCE COACH

Coach Tyquan is originally from Gainesville Ga, Where he was a three sport athlete playing football, basketball, and running track. He gained over 20 division 1 football scholarships and was a top 50 athlete in the country. Tyquan later went on to study at the University of Cincinnati. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Education with a focus in fitness and health promotion. After playing, he interned with the University of Cincinnati Football Strength and Conditioning program and also has a certification in personal training. In his free time he loves being with friends and making music.

Coach Allison Bussell

ALLISON BUSSELL

ADULT FITNESS COACH

Allison started coaching CrossFit in March of 2020. Previously, she coached JV basketball for 3 years and JV softball for 7 years. Currently, she is in her second year of coaching a National Fastpitch softball team. In college, she played basketball and softball for Lake Michigan College for 2 years and then played softball and the University of Toledo for 2 years. Allison is a Sports Performance Coach / Adult Fitness Coach as well as a Certified IYCA Speed and Agility Specialist.

In 2019 she got married and has 2 dogs (Griffey and Kinsler). When not coaching she is a Kindergarten/First Grade looping teacher or playing slowpitch softball.

SCOTT BEARD

ADULT FITNESS COACH


USAW L1 OLYMPIC LIFTING

Scott is a Retired Detective/Sergeant from the Michigan State Police (31 years). He has been involved in sports and fitness his whole life as a 4 sport letterman at Columbia Central High School (baseball, basketball, football, and cross country) and 4 year varsity baseball player at Saginaw Valley State University. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from SVSU (Criminal Justice major, Health and Physical Education minor). He coached multiple high school boys and girls sports for over 10 years and was the General Manager of the Southern Michigan Timberwolves semi pro football team from 2001-2018 (2017 National Champs). He is happily married to Kim, and has 4 children/stepchildren, and 6 grandchildren

Coach Mollie

MOLLIE MCGHEE

ATHLETE PERFORMANCE COACH


Coach Mollie is from Toledo, Ohio and has a Bachelor’s of Exercise Science with a speciality in Human Performance and Fitness Promotion from University of Toledo. She has had previous experience as a Strength and Conditioning intern at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA and also at UT. Mollie is now working with Notre Dame Academy as a strength coach. She is excellent with our athletes and exceptional with one-on-one training. Mollie enjoys going on nature walks and reading.

SAMUEL CHIPPS

ATHLETE PERFORMANCE COACH


Coach Sam is from Toledo, Ohio and is currently finishing his Bachelor’s Degree of Exercise Science, with a concentration in human performance, from the University of Toledo. He has previously served as a strength and conditioning intern at St. John’s Jesuit High School and at the University of Toledo’s ROTC program. He rowed in high school and metaled in five different events at the Midwest Scholastic Rowing Championship his sophomore and junior seasons. Sam spends most of his free time playing guitar, reading, or training.

Ross is from Bowling Green, Ohio and comes to pillar fitness with a bachelors from Bowling Green State University where he studied exercise science. He has experience both coaching and participating in CrossFit for around 10 years. Ross’s goals are to encourage people to work hard and make fitness fun for the members.

Ashlyn is a CrossFit Level 1 trainer and is currently working on earning a movement and mobility specialist certification. She has always been an athlete and developed a passion for teaching and helping others grow their passion for health and wellness, encompassing the mind and body. As a coach and mentor for over 10 years, she is excited to continue doing so as apart of our Pillar team.

ADULT FITNESS COACH


Hi my name is Amanda O'bryan, I am married to Dan and have two children. In 2019 I made changes to put myself and my health first, I wanted to be a better example for my kids. I joined Pillar in April of 2021, starting off with burn and eventually moving to CrossFit. I loved every second of it along with the results I was seeing. I have been fully committed to pushing myself in both the CrossFit and Burn classes. I'm excited to be on the coaching side to hopefully motivate and encourage others like our coaches have done for me!
